Increased  by 6.27% of turnover and 42.4% of profit before tax for the first quarter of 2013 compared to last year's corresponding presented, IKTINOS HELLAS SA
The marble exports during the first quarter of 2013 amounted to 91% of the turnover of the company. This increase was due to good sales policy followed by the company, making dynamic shift towards exports while adopting conservative policy in terms of the internal market by making selective sales to ensure the requirements of the customers of the interior.
The parent company's turnover increased by 6.27% and stood at 4,829 thousand euro instead of 4,526 thousand in the previous year, and profit before tax amounted to 1.407 thousand  euro instead of 925 thousand. euro, an increase of 42.4%.
Respectively, on a consolidated basis, turnover increased by 3.2% and reached by 5.415 thousand euro instead of 5,242 thousand euro  in the previous year, and profit before tax amounted to 1,450 thousand euro instead of 1,153 thousand euro, an increase of 20 , 5%.
