Koropi, 20^thMay, 2013: Expanding its export activities, INTRACOM  Defense Electronics (IDE) signed two (2) new export contracts with German companies, for own developed products.The value of the contracts amounts to € 4 mil. And completion is scheduled by the end of 2014.

The one agreement with the German company RAMSys, concerns the production of telemetry systems for NATO surface-to-air ESSM (Evolved SeaSparrow Missile) program, which has shown successful international records and is in use by the naval forces of twelve (12) countries.

The other concerns an agreement with the German company Diehl BGT Defence (DBD) for the Field Test Equipment(FTE) of IRIS-Tmissile, which is considered as the most modern infrared guided short range air-to-air missile system worldwide, designed and manufactured by an international consortium of six (6) European nations

The above contracts, involving products that have been developed in Greece, are being implemented in a period with particular challenges in the international financial and business environment and contribute in the establishment of IDE internationally and on the other hand in strengthening the national economy, development and competitiveness.
