Changes of the Athex Index Series

At the April 2013 meeting of the ATHEX Advisory Committee the members discussed the removal of the company «Bank of Cyprus LTD» from the ATHEX Composite Price Index effective on April 18, 2013.

In order to make the removal of the company replicable for Index trackers and other product issuers, the following actions have been agreed:

• «Bank of Cyprus LTD» will be reinstated to ATHEX Composite Price & ATHEX Composite Total Return Indices after the close of business on Friday May 31, 2013 at the price at which it was removed (i.e. euro 0.207).

• «Bank of Cyprus LTD» will be removed from the above mention indices after the close of business on Friday June 7, 2013 at zero price if the suspension of trading of the company?s shares is extended.

If the suspension of trading of the «Bank of Cyprus LTD» shares is lifted prior to Friday June 7, 2013 then the ATHEX Committee Members will evaluate the removal of the company from the indices taking into consideration the new data.
