REPLY TO LETTER BY THE HELLENIC CAPITAL MARKET COMMISSION

Following letter No. 1257/27.3.2013 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, regarding any possible activity of Attica Bank inCyprusand its possible exposure to the banking system inCyprusand particularly to the Bank of Cyprus and CPB Bank, Attica Bank wishes to inform investors about the following:

i) Attica Bank and its subsidiaries do not hold deposits in the aforementioned banks.

ii) Attica Bank holds a bond issued by the Bank of Cyprus (ISIN CY0141890117), of a nominal value of 5 million euros, included in the Available for Sale Portfolio and valuated at market prices.

iii) Attica Bank and its subsidiaries do not have operating activities inCyprus.
