In accordance with par. 1, art. 2 of Decision No. 5/204/2000 of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission,and following a question posed by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission regarding articles in the Press concerning the submission of proposals for the acquisition of Hellenic Postbank by interested banks, Attica Bank confirms its interest in the participation in the above-mentioned process. Due to a confidentiality agreement signed with the Bank of Greece, however, Attica Bank is not in a position to provide any additional information.

Attica Bank, in accordance with existing legislation, will inform investors about any developments that may occur in the future.
