ANNOUNCEMENT

Eurobank Ergasias S.A. announces that the Board of Directors, at its meeting of 7.12.2012, approved unanimously the Bank's participation in the Greek Government's Debt Buyback programme announced by the Ministry of Finance on 3.12.2012.
