CHANGES IN NBG MANAGEMENT

 

Athens,28/9/2012

Further to the proposal of the HR and Remuneration Committee, at its meeting held on27 September 2012the Board of NBG decided to extend the contracts of nine General Managers up to31 December 2013.

Moreover, by decision of the Management, the contracts of seven Assistant General Managers were also extended while four contracts were converted into Management Special Advisor contracts.

Specifically,

A) General Managers

The following contracts were extended up to31/12/2013:

Andreas Athanasopoulos, General Manager of Retail Banking

Dimitrios Dimopoulos, General Manager of Corporate Banking

Paul Mylonas, Chief Economist & Chief of Strategy & Head of International

Miltiadis Stathopoulos, General Counsel & General Manager of Corporate Governance

 

Aristotelis Karytinos, General Manager of Group Real Estate

Michalis Oratis, General Manager of Group Risk Management

Marianna Politopoulou, General Manager of Non-Performing Lending

Nelly Tzakou, General Manager of Operations

Leonidas Frangiadakis, General Manager of Group Treasury

 

B) Assistant General Managers

 

The following contracts were extended up to31/12/2013:

Panagiotis Goutakis, Assistant General Manager of Investment Banking

Ioanna Katzilieri-Zour, Assistant General Manager of Retail Banking

Spyridon-Stavros Mavrogalos, Assistant General Manager of Purchasing

Tilemachos Palaiologos, Assistant General Manager of Security

Theofanis Panagiotopoulos, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Banking

Petros Fourtounis, Assistant General Manager of Group Internal Audit–Inspection

Dimitrios Frangetis, Chief Credit Officer

  

C) Extension and conversion of contracts

 

The following contracts were extended and converted into Management Special Advisor contracts:

 

Spyros Asimopoulos: Advisor to Management on SME Loan issues (until 31/12/2013).

Dimitrios Vrailas: Advisor to Management on issues to be assigned (until 31/03/2013).

Andreas Vranas: Advisor to Management on HR issues (until 31/03/2013).

Ioannis Mpalampanis: Advisor to Management on mergers (until31/03/2013).

  

D)   Resignation of a General Manager

Mr Georgios Paschas, Group General Manager of Business Processes, IT and Purchasing, resigned and shall retire as of30 September 2012.

Mr Paschas, to whom the Management wishes all the best in his future life, declined a proposal for the extension of his contract expiring as at30 September 2012for personal reasons.
