PRESS RELEASE
Our Group will assume the role of official importer of Jaguar inGreecewith immediate effect.
Jaguar models available in the Greek market currently include the XF, XK, XJ which compete in the luxury segments of the Greek car market.
The Managing Director of Petros Petropoulos Group, Mr.John Petropoulos, said: We are very pleased by this development, which fits harmoniously with our strategy of forming long term alliances with world leaders in the automotive business. With the current market conditions, partnerships that result in economies of scale are the only way forward. The addition of Jaguar to our portfolio of businesses is in this direction. It also conforms with the strategy of Jaguar-Land Rover to unify the distribution of the two brands worldwide.
Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition with respect to the provision of after-sales support to Jaguar customers through the consolidation with the authorized dealer network of Land Rover. We also plan to increase the number of authorized service points so that we can better serve Jaguar owners throughoutGreece. Jaguar owner satisfaction will be of a paramount importance to us. We also aim to increase Jaguar market share inGreeceas a result of the enhanced customer satisfaction and increased visibility of the brand. The introduction of new exciting models that Jaguar plans for 2013 and beyond will greatly facilitate the achievement of this goal.
Due to the crisis in the passenger car sector, we do not expect that this new activity will add substantially to the Group's profitability in the immediate future.”
Furthermore, Mr. Mark Beamont, Jaguar Land Rover Regional Manager forGreece, stated that: “We are very satisfied to expand our partnership with the Petros Petropoulos Group, a financially sound and professional leader in the automotive distribution industry. We are also happy that with this move we take one more step towards the consolidation of distribution of our Jaguar and Land Rover brands. We look forward to the further development of our customers' satisfaction and the increase of our share of the Greek automobile market”.
