Luxembourg, January 23, 2013 –INTRASOFT International, a leading European company in the area of Information and Communication Technology Services, has been selected through a competitive tender process by the Cyprus University of Technology for the implementation of the Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) project, after a 12-month qualification process. The budget of this SAP project amounts to 0.66 million EUR (657,615.00 EUR plus VAT), while it is expected to be completed by June 2015.

This project is one of the largest integrated IT systems at a University in Cyprus, which will cover all student-related functions, and the second large-scale project in the Education sector that INTRASOFT International is awarded within one year, demonstrating its pioneering position in the implementation of Integrated Information Systems for Higher Education Institutions.

INTRASOFT International will design and implement an integrated information system for all student-related functions (Recruiting & Admissions, Course Registration, Faculty, Academic Records, Attendance Records, Housing, Bologna Process etc). Through this system a great number of services will be provided to the University Personnel directly involved with the students, as well as online automated services to Faculty and Students. The online provision of these services will reduce the everyday workload of the personnel and will give them the opportunity to offer more specialized services to the University. The new system will monitor the complete lifecycle of a student within the University, maintaining all necessary information related to his/her academic activity and beyond.

This project is part of the Electronic Cyprus University of Technology (e-CUT) initiative, which has a total budget of 4 million EUR. This project and the overall Electronic Cyprus University of Technology (e-CUT) initiative is co-financed 85% by the European Union Structural Funds and is part of the "Sustainable Development and Competitiveness 2007-2013" Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The first project that INTRASOFT International has been awarded in the Education sector was “The Digital Leap of the University of Patras: one stop-shop online services”, which began in early 2012 and is scheduled to be completed in 30 months. It is an integrated IT system for the complete digital organization of the University of Patras, the first project of its kind in a Greek University. The cost of the project amounted to 2 million EUR without VAT.
