In response to the Capital Market Commission's enquiry No. 3137/1-8-2012, in relation to the Minister of Finance's announcement made on 31.7.2012 according to which “The Minister of Finance, Mr. Ioannis Stournaras has decided to appoint the economist Mr. Kostantinos Louropoulos as Chairman and CEO of OPAP S.A” under Law 3340/2005 and the Capital Market Commission's decision No. 3/347/12.7.2005, the investing public is thereby informed of the following:

Τhe election, revocation and replacement of the Board of Directors members, all come under the jurisdiction of the Shareholders General Meeting or the Board of Directors under the provision of Codified Law No. 2190/1920, the Articles of Association and the Code of Corporate Governance that the company has adopted and applied.  

Up until today, the company has not been aware, beyond the above announcement made by the Ministry of Finance, of the Greek State's intention (as one of its shareholders) of the proposed procedure's implementation.

Investors will be informed in due course regarding further proceedings as soon as they become known to the company's Management.
