Due to the changes of the free float of the shares of the Company "GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A." and following the "Ground Rules for the Management & Calculation of the FTSE/ATHEX Indices" (par. 4.4.) the shares of the Company, as of Friday, December 8, 2006, will be deleted from the FTSE/ATHEX Indices in which they participate.

Specifically, the following changes will be effected in the Indices composition:

FTSE/ATHEX 20
The shares of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. are deleted from the Index and are replaced by the shares of the company MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. (weighting 75%).

FTSE/ATHEX Mid Cap 40
The shares of the company MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. are deleted from the Index and are replaced by the shares of the company FORTHNET S.A. (weighting 30%).

FTSE/ATHEX International
The shares of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. are deleted from the said Index without being replaced by the shares of another company.

FTSE/ATHEX 140
The shares of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. are deleted from the said Index without being replaced by the shares of another company.

FTSE/ATHEX Retail
The shares of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. are deleted from the said Index without being replaced by the shares of another company.

The aforementioned changes will be put into effect prior to the start of the trading session of the ATHEX on Friday, December 8, 2006.
