It is reminded that from Monday, 2 January 2006, the following applications will begin:

• The classification of ATHEX companies into sectors of economic activity according to the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB) (cf. Attached table)

• The calculation of the new sector-based indices as well as

• The calculation of the new FTSE/ATHEX International Index which is constituted by all the shares that belong to the Big Capitalisation category and fulfil the liquidity criteria of the FTSE/ATHEX Indices.

The information of the new sector-based indices as well as their composition are presented in the attached table. (cf. Attached table). The opening price for all indices will be at 5.000 index points.
