Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co Ltd (the “Bank”) announces that Mr Panayiotis Kounnis, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, has resigned today from the position of Member of the Board of Directors of the Bank and will also take voluntary early retirement from the Group.

The Board of Directors expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Kounnis for his services and for his valuable contribution during his long service within the Group.

The responsibility of the Bank's operations in Cyprus will be undertaken by Mr. Doros Ktorides.
