ANNOUNCEMENT

The windparkofPPC Renewablesin Akoumia (Rethymno) - Crete, was set into operation, adding 7.2 MW of capacity in the energy system ofCrete.

 The park consists of eight wind generators, 900ΚW each.

 The wind park in Akoumia, along with other five wind parks in Paros, Lesvos, Rhodes, Limnos and Samos, which became operational in 2011, form part of a project of PPC Renewables for the construction of nine wind parks in Aegean islands and Crete, with a total installed capacity of 35MW. Until today, 22.5MW have been installed and the wind parks in Koprinos - Crete, Sifnos and Pythagoreio -Samosare under development.
