Changes in the Composition of the ATHEX Indices

Due to the transfer of trading of the shares of "CHATZIIOANNOU HOLDINGS S.A. (CR)", "SANYO HOLDINGS S.A (CR)", "EDRASIS - C. PSALLIDAS S.A. (CR)" and "M.J. MAILIS S.A. (CR)" to the Low Dispersion, Low Liquidity & Special Features Category of the Athens Exchange the following changes will take place. More specifically:

  • ATHEX COMPOSITE INDEX

    • The share "M.J. MAILIS S.A. (CR)" is removed from the index and replaced by the share "SCIENS HOLDINGS (CR)" with investability weighting 100%.
  • ATHEX COMPOSITE INDEX TOTAL RETURN

    • The share "M.J. MAILIS S.A. (CR)" is removed from the index and replaced by the share "SCIENS HOLDINGS (CR)" with investability weighting 100%.
  • FTSE/ATHEX International

    • The share "M.J. MAILIS S.A. (CR)" is removed from the index without immediate replacement.
  • FTSE/ATHEX SMALLCAP 80

    • The shares "CHATZIIOANNOU HOLDINGS S.A. (CR)", "SANYO HOLDINGS S.A (CR)", «EDRASIS - C. PSALLIDAS S.A. (CR)" are removed from the index and replaced by the shares "IKTINOS HELLAS (CR)" with investability weighting 40%, "KORDELLOS CH. BROS S.A.(CB)" with investability weighting 20% and "ZHNON (CR)" with investability weighting 100%.
  • FTSE/ATHEX 140

    • The shares of "CHATZIIOANNOU HOLDINGS S.A. (CR)", "SANYO HOLDINGS S.A (CR)", "EDRASIS - C. PSALLIDAS S.A. (CR)" are removed from the index and replaced by the shares "IKTINOS HELLAS (CR)" with investability weighting 40%, "KORDELLOS CH. BROS S.A.(CB)" with investability weighting 20% and "ZHNON (CR)" with investability weighting 100%.
  • FTSE/ATHEX CONSTRUCTION & MATERIALS

    • The share "EDRASIS - C. PSALLIDAS S.A. (CR)" is removed from the index and replaced by the share "IKTINOS HELLAS (CR)" with investability weighting 40%.
  • FTSE/Χ.Α. PERSONAL & HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS

    • The shares "CHATZIIOANNOU HOLDINGS S.A. (CR)", "SANYO HOLDINGS S.A (CR)" are removed from the index without immediate replacement.
  • FTSE/Χ.Α. BASIC RESOURCES

    • The share "KORDELLOS CH. BROS S.A.(CB)" is added to the index with investability weighting 20%.
  • FTSE/Χ.Α. INDUSTRIAL GOODS AND SERVICES

    • The share of "M.J. MAILIS S.A. (CR)" is removed from the index and replaced by the share "ZHNON (CR)" with investability weighting 100%

All changes will be effective from Monday October 27, 2008.
