H1 2013 RESULTS

Turnover in H1 2013 amounted to 161 mn euros from 162.1 mn euros in H1 2012, decreased slightly by 0.7% (-1.1 mn euros). This drop was mainly due to decreased revenues from sewerage services.

Company earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 22.6 mn euros, presenting a decline compared to 27.1 mn euros in the same period of 2012.

Company earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 39.1 mn euros compared to 43.1 mn euros in the first half of 2012, decreased by 9.4%.

The before tax profit amounted to 21.6 mn euros, against 21.3 mn euros in the first half of 2012 increased by 1.2%. The change in the corporate tax rate from 20% to 26%, resulted to the significant increase of the deferred tax asset by 20 mn euros, driving the after tax profit of EYDAP for the first half of 2013 to an increase of 128%, amounting to 33.4 mn euros from 14.6 mn euros in 2012.
