Athens, September 3, 2013 – The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (OTE SA), announces that, OTE's Board of Directors elected on 3/9/2013, Mr Stylianos Petsas as new, non-executive member of the BoD, in replacement of the resigned non-executive member Mr Nikolaos Karamouzis, for the rest of the latter's tenure, namely until the date of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the year 2015.
CV of Mr Petsas
Mr. Stylianos Petsas is Head of the Revenues Unit of the General Government's Budget Directorate at the General Accounting Office of the Ministry of Finance. During his service at the Ministry of Finance he has served as Economic Counselor of Greece to the OECD, has participated as national expert in Institution Building Programs of the European Commission (Twinning Projects) and has represented Greece in various EU Working Groups and Committees on EU Budget issues and on the Financial Perspectives 2007-2013 formulation. Mr Petsas has also served as member of Committees and working groups on issues such as the compensation system in the Public Sector and in Independent Administrative Authorities, the EU's own resources system, the reform of the Income Tax Code and the Procedures Tax Code. He has been member of the OECD's Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC) Bureau, of the Governing Board of the European Studies New Scientists Union and the Graduates Union of the National School of Public Administration. Mr Petsas is a Graduate of the National School of Public Administration and holds Bachelor and Master's Degrees in International and European Economic Studies. In addition, he has published books and articles on fiscal policy, international economics, structural reforms and European integration issues. Mr Petsas speaks English and French, is married and has two daughters.
