Following the recent announcement of the company "MARFIN POPULAR BANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED" regarding the results of the Voluntary Tender Offer to the shareholders of the companies "MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. HOLDING" and "EGNATIA BANK S.A." and according to the Ground Rules for the Management of the FTSE/ATHEX Index Series (par. 4.4.) the shares of the above companies will be deleted from all FTSE/ATHEX Indices.

In detail the following changes will take place:

FTSE/ATHEX 20
The shares of the company "MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. HOLDING" are deleted from the index and replaced by the shares of the company "ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB S.A." with investability weighting of 75%.

FTSE/ATHEX Mid Cap 40
The shares of the companies "ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB S.A." and "EGNATIA BANK S.A." are deleted from the index and replaced by the shares of the companies "EUROBANK PROPERTIES R.E.I.C." with investability weighting of 30% and "IASO S.A." with investability weighting of 100%

FTSE/ATHEX International
The shares of the companies "MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. HOLDING" and "EGNATIA BANK S.A." are deleted from the index.

FTSE/ATHEX 140
The shares of the companies "MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. HOLDING" and "EGNATIA BANK S.A." are deleted from the index.

FTSE/ATHEX Banks
The shares of the companies "MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP S.A. HOLDING" and "EGNATIA BANK S.A." are deleted from the index.

All changes will be effective before the start of business on Thursday, January 04 2007.
