The periodic semi-annual meeting of the Special Advisory Committee of the Common Regional FTSE/Med 100 Index was held today Monday, May 14 2012.
The FTSE Med 100 Index, which was put into force on 19/06/2003, is comprised of 100 stocks that are listed on the Tel Aviv, Athens, and Cyprus Stock Exchanges.
At this meeting the Committee, which is comprised of executives from Athens, Tel Aviv and Cyprus Stock Exchange as well as a representative of FTSE Group, carried out a detailed review on the index's performance for the half-year period from October 2011 until March 2012, according to the Ground Rules of Operation of the said Index.
During the current review of the index, and according to the Ground Rules, there was one (1) addition, one (1) deletions and no investability weight change of index constituents.
According to the new composition of the Index, there are 25 constituents from the Athens Exchange, 67 from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and 8 from the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
