Reply to the Hellenic Capital Market Commission's request dated 4.4.2012

In reply to the Hellenic Capital Market Commission's request dated 4.4.2012, EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. announces that it is in advanced discussions with Burgan Bank from Kuwait for the disposal of its entire participation in Eurobank Tekfen in Turkey. The terms of the transaction will be announced following the signing of a binding agreement.
