The ASE Board of Directors, on its session on July 6, 2001, approved as of July 18, the calculation of the Indices in the Capital Market to be performed every 30 secs. To be noted that until July 17, 2001, the General Index and the Sector Indices, as well as the Total Return Indices will be calculated every 60 secs.

The suggested change will further improve the real-time presentation of the Market trends through the Price Indices.

The OASIS System will also transmit to the ADEX OASIS System the Index prices every 30 secs.
