JUMBO S.A.

Sales up by 8% in the 10 months of 2025

JUMBO Group confirmed its growth momentum in October, delivering a double-digit increase in sales and demonstrating its resilience in a volatile international environment.

Greece and Cyprus continued to perform strongly, providing solid support to the Group’s overall growth.

November and December are critical for the Group’s performance for 2025.

In the meantime, the acquisition of the “Veso Mare” mall in Patras for EUR 10,8 million — with an expected double-digit return  in year one — highlights the  evolution of the Group’s business model, via ensuring greater control over retail locations, reducing operating costs, and enhancing profit margins in the long term.

Sales Overview:

  • In October 2025, JUMBO Group recorded a sales increase by c. +13% y-o-y.
  • For the period January–October 2025, Group sales were up by c. +8% y-o-y.

The performance of the sales network was supported by favorable weather conditions (lower temperatures), mainly in Greece and Cyprus, as well as by  efficiencies in the supply chain. By contrast, October 2024 had been negatively affected by stock shortages caused by the closure of the Suez Canal and by an unusually hot weather that limited consumer demand.

As recently announced, at the end of October JUMBO Group acquired 100% of “HERALD HELLAS SINGLE-MEMBER REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES S.A. 2 (HERALD 2)”, owner of the “Veso Mare” mall in Patras. The total consideration amounted to EUR 10.825.621. JUMBO already operates a store in the mall, and the return on invested capital is expected to be double-digit in year one.

This investment forms part of the Group’s broader strategy to acquire leased stores that are already in operation, thereby strengthening operational efficiency, long-term sustainability, and the resilience of its business model.
